Wilco’s forthcoming album The Whole Love is streaming at their website all day long.
After several listens, I’m about ready to declare The Whole Love the best new album I’ve heard so far this year. So, so good. And I don’t think the critics will be whining that there’s nothing new on this one, though one of the great things about it are all the echoes of albums past. That gives it a fresh, but familiar sound. Can’t wait for two nights at Massey Hall in two weeks.
